Contacting your state representative and senator is an effective way to advocate on the state budget or state legislation. Here's how:

Step 1: Find your state representative and senator here. Click the "Find Your Elected Officials" tab, and enter a street address. Write down their names, so you can proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Once you know your local representative and senator's names, you can easily look up their contact information!

Step 3: Don't forget to be clear and concise as you advocate. Phone calls and personal emails are the most effective way to communicate. Please make sure to contact both your representative and senator - your voice matters!
